Ingredients: Knead dough Short bread

  450g flour
pinch of salt
380g butter
125g sugar
1/2 tsp. zest of an orange

Sift the flour with the salt. Then mix the butter with the sugar. Knead in the orange zest and the flour. Let the dough chill in the fridge covered with a damp cloth for 30 min.

Roll out the dough 8mm thick on a floured surface and cut big circles with a round cookie cutter. Slice these like a cake. Place them on a lined baking tray with enough space in between. Poke little holes with a wooden spit. Preheat the oven to 180C and bake for 10-15 min. When the cookies are finished, work the holes again with the spit. Sprinkle with lots of sugar.
