Knead dough



Ingredients: Knead dough Schmalznüsse

  250g lard
150g butter
500g sugar
pulp of a vanilla pod
600g flour
10g salts of hartshorn
1 egg
2 cl. rum
3 tsp. cocoa

Melt the lard and butter in a saucepan and let cool. Stir in the sugar and the pulp of the vanilla pod. Blend with flour, salts of hartshorn, egg and the rum. Use a hand mixer with dough hooks to knead until you have a smooth dough. Split the dough in half and knead the cocoa into one of the halves. Form balls the size of a cherry and place them on a lined baking tray. Leave enough space between the cookies. Preheat the oven to 175°C and bake for 15 min.
